Markdown to PDF API
Turn Markdown into a PDF ready to share. Agents write Markdown well; this turns their output into a document people expect.
How it converts
No single engine converts this pair, so it runs in two steps:
- pandoc converts Markdown to DOCX.
- LibreOffice converts DOCX to PDF.
- Markdown is read as GitHub-flavored Markdown: headings, lists, task lists, tables, code blocks, links and footnotes.
- It runs in two steps: pandoc builds a Word document, then LibreOffice lays it out as a PDF.
- Images and stylesheets the file points to by URL or path are not fetched: the converter has no network access and reads only the file you send.
