XLSX to PDF API
Turn an Excel workbook into a PDF for sharing or archiving. LibreOffice Calc opens the workbook and prints every sheet to PDF.
How it converts
LibreOffice converts XLSX to PDF.
- Every sheet is exported. A sheet’s print area and page setup, if it has them, decide what goes on each page.
- Formulas are shown as their calculated values.
- Calibri and Cambria are replaced with Carlito and Caladea, and Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New with Liberation fonts. Each replacement has the same letter widths, so lines and pages break where they do in Microsoft Office. Other fonts fall back to a similar typeface, which can move line breaks.

- Are all sheets included?
- Yes, every sheet, using each sheet’s print area and page setup when it has them.
- Does an XLSX to PDF conversion cost more than other pairs?
- No. Every pair costs one conversion, and failed conversions are never billed.
