PDF to DOCX API
Turn a PDF into a Word document you can edit. The result is the text of the PDF as real paragraphs, not a picture of each page.
How it converts
calibre converts PDF to DOCX.
- A PDF stores positioned text, not paragraphs, so calibre rebuilds paragraphs from it. Single-column text converts well; multi-column layouts, tables and forms lose their arrangement.
- Scanned PDFs are images of text and convert to almost nothing. OCR is not supported yet.
